Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State, members and stakeholders of the Peoples’ Democratic Party have intensified efforts towards ensuring the victory of the Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates in the Ibadan South East council area.
The campaign, which commenced from wards 1 to 12, signalled the readiness of the members of the PDP to ensure the victory of the party on Saturday, April 27th.
The former Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ademola Ige, and other prominent stakeholders expressed optimism that the PDP will have a landslide victory in the Ibadan South East local government in the council poll.
Stakeholders, while drumming support for the re-election bid of Hon. Emmanuel Alawode and Hon. Teslim Ogundeji as Chairman and Vice Chairmanship candidates of the PDP in Ibadan South East, assured the people of more dividends of democracy through meaningful projects.
The PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Hon Emmanuel Alawode, lauded members and stakeholders of the Party for trooping out to support his re-election bid and that of the 12 councilorship candidates in Ibadan South East local government.
