Voting has commenced in all the polling units in Ogbomoso zone.
Our correspondent in Ogbomoso, who monitored the exercise in the area reports that electoral officers arrived their respective polling units around 7am, and accreditation commenced immediately.
The exercise witnessed large turn out of voters at Post Office and Ojude Elenji units of Isale Afon ward as voters were seen exercising their civic responsibility.
Two PDP Chieftains, Chief Saka Balogun and Mr Olaniyi Oladiran alongside an APC stakeholder in Ogbomoso Chief Olawale Ademola gave the commendation after casting their votes at their respective polling units.
The trio of Balogun, Oladiran and Olawale said the conduct of ongoing exercise is commendable as arrival of officers were not delayed which accessed to commencement of accreditation and voting at appropriate time.
They also lauded the state government for giving the electoral empire free hand to operate during the election.
