One of the Chairmanship candidate Hon Seun Onifade and Member of House of Reps Hon Stanley Olajide have urged the electorate to attach great importance to local government election for the advancement of the country.
They both gave the advice at their respective polling shortly after performing their civic responsibilities.
They ccommended the Electorate for the turn out of the local government election
The exercise according to Hon Seun Onifade was violence free commended security operatives for their efforts towards ensuring peaceful poll.
Also Hon Stanley Olajide popularly known as Odidiomo lamented the attitude of electorate towards the council poll.
He said despite the late arrival of election materials the exercise is rancour free in his ward and polling units.
As of the time of filling this report some Electoral officers are gradually moving to the respective polling units.
