LG Poll : OYSIEC Declares Election Results

The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), has declared results of the just concluded Local Government Councils Election , held across the Thirty Three ( 33) Local Government Areas of the state .

 

Announcing results of the elections, on Sunday at OYSIEC Headquarters, Agodi, Ibadan, the Returning Officers from the various local governments, declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), candidates defeated candidates of the other political parties that participated in the elections .

 

In his remarks, the OYSIEC Chief Returning Officer , Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, SAN explained that the commission would work on areas that required improvement for better election management in future.

 Olagunju, who lauded relevant stakeholders including the media for their support , hinted that the commission would work on

post-election report .
