A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party Hon Semiu Folarin has urged the executive Governor of Oyo State Engineer Seyi Makinde and the Chairman Ido local government Hon Sheriff Adeojo to give priority attention to the welfare of the people of people of Apete,Olomo ,Ariyibi through the construction of their roads to safe lives.
Hon Folarin who noted the road that link Apete,Ariyibi , Olomo to Moniya is in deplorable conduction hence the need for Government to take urgent steps to reduce hardship being faced by the people of the area and prevent further loss of property and lives.
According to him,Governor Seyi Makinde has done a lot for the people of Ido local government especially through road construction and make the council area a commercial hub.
” I am appealing to His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde and the performing chairman of Ido local government to as a matter of urgent public importance to find lasting solution to the deplorable roads along Olomo, Ariyibi to Moniya axis of Akinyele local government.It is extremely difficult for residents to plight the road during rainy season while commercial activities will equally paralyzed.”
” The construction of the road will equally add to dividends of democracy enjoyed by the people of Ido local government and the trust people have in Governor Seyi Makinde and Hon Sheriff Adeojo led administration.”Folarin said.
While hoping for quick response from the state and local government Hon Semiu Folarin assured government of the community support towards ensuring the construction of the road
Folarin who is an indigene of Ido local government also appealed to government to send team to monitor and see the deplorable condition of the road and take necessary action.
