Four hundred and thirty members of Oyo state Hajj Pilgrims first batch that were airlifted in the early hour of Sunday have touched down at Prince Muhammed Ibn Abdu- Aziz International Airport, Madina, Saudi Arabia, safely.
According to the Secretary, Oyo State Pilgrim welfare board (Muslim wing) Alhaji Fasasi Kamorudeen, the 430 people airlifted out of 550 first batch contingent, landed in Saudi Arabia around 10am on Sunday.
It was gathered that some second batch members of the intending Pilgrims would later in the day be airlifted with the remaining 120 members of the first batch to Saudi Arabia.
Recall that the State Hajj Board had disbursed part part payment of their Basic Travelling Allowance BTA, while the payment would be completed immediately they arrive in Saudi Arabia.
