Muslim ummah have been charged to see the celebration of Eid el Adha otherwise called eid el kabir beyond merriment or merry making but make conscious effort to imbibe the virtues of the sacrifice that centered on piety, perseverance, charity and godliness which the festival teaches.
Islamic clerics who led the two rakat prayer in their various Eid praying ground across oke ogun areas gave the charge while leading their congregation.

In his Sermon,the Chief Imam of Otu land Fadilat Sheikh Al imam Alhaji Abdul Ganiy Abdul Salam Ayodabo admonished muslims to always exhibit fear of Allah in their dealings with their fellow human being.
He emphasized the need for muslims to be patient and stop chasing white shadow or material possession.
He also stressed the need for muslims to imbibe the tenets of Islam by observing the five pillars of Islam.
While speaking on the significance of eid el adha,Mr Nureni Sakariyah urged muslims to cultivate the spirit of obedience to the will of Allah at all times as exemplified by prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismael.
At Saki Eid praying ground where Sesan Onibode covered eid activities, the chief Imam of Saki land Alhaji Sheikh Abdul Azeez jeje kumi Areebo masojo charged muslims to be careful in pursuit of wealth as everything life is vanity.
Imam Jeje kumi Areebo masojo warned those who can go at length to fulfill their ostentatious life style to be mindful of thereafter.
Onaolapo Fasasi who monitored eid at Aarinoye Alaga said Alfa Mukaheel Yusuf while delivering his sermon after leading eid prayer preached against extremism in the name of religion, emphasizing that,it is a sin to kill or terminate life of other in the presence of promoting religion.
He admonished muslims to tolerate others and maintain peaceful co existence.
