RATTAWU BCOS Chapter Honours Retirees, Staff for commitment to duties

Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria RATTAWU BCOS Chapter has honoured some members of the Union who had retired from the service of the corporation.

 

 

The Union also honoured some members of staff for their commitment to duties and distinguished Nigerians who have contributed greatly to the development of the society.

 

While Presenting gifts to the retirees the Executive Chairman of BCOS Chief Mrs Dotun Olaitan appreciated the lofty contributions of the retirees during their service years.

 

She charged the staff of the corporation to be more committed and be good ambassadors of the BCOS at all times.

 

In his welcome address the Chairman of RATTAWU BCOS Chapter Comrade Kola Carew said the Programme was organized to appreciate the immense contributions of the retirees and some members of the Union.

 

 

According to Comrade Carew the Bcos Rattawu under his watch will continue to give priority attention to the welfare of its members especially during this economic situation.

 

 

” Today we roll palliative Programmes for our members who are on freelance and contract modes. This is to motivate them and ensure effective service delivery.While hoping for their confirmation as permanent staff, the union will continue to support them through various welfare packages.”

 

 

” We thanked the Management team of BCOS led Chief Dotun Olaitan for her unflinching support and creating an enabling environment for workers to operate” Carew said.

 

The best staff of the month award goes to Mrs Tiniuade Atoyosoye of Programmes Department and Mr kunle Ojerinde of the Production Services Department.

Some of the retirees and awardees expressed gratitude to God who counted them worthy to successfully retired from the service of the corporation

 

They also admonished their colleagues to be passionate and dedicated in their services to the Corporation.

The retirees include Dr Opeyemi Orimolade,Mrs Temitope Oke,Mrs Victoria Oyeleke,Comrade Asimiyu Omitola,Mrs Olanrewaju,Comrade Micheal Songoyinka,Mrs Shalewa Jenfa,Mr Tunde Ogunwusi

 

Also present at the event was the General Manager of BCOS Mr Goke Adelakun, departmental directors and members of staff

 

Among the recipients of Rattawu Awards the Chairman Oyo State pilgrims welfare board Muslim wing Alhaji Sheik Abdulwahab Atere,Prophet Sunday Oluwade and some members of BCOS RATTAWU who have contributed to the development of the union.
