A Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in the Ido Local Government Dr Semiu Opeyemi Folarin has urged the Protesters to be wary of Protest Hijackers who may likely disrupt the peaceful protest

Dr Folarin in his message said the current economic situation in the country calls for drastic steps expected to be taken by the federal government.

According to Hon Opeyemi Folarin the rate at which the cost of essential Commodities are skyrocketing is now becoming unbearable to many Nigerians.

Dr Folarin noted that the protest is necessary but called for proper coordination of the exercise so as to avoid being hijacked by the hoodlums and cause violence in the country.

“No doubt things are tense in the country, hence the need for people to demand good governance and stability in the economy. When President Bola Tinubu assumed office our expectation is to fix the economy of the country especially with his vast experience in politics and business administration but he’s yet to meet Nigerian expectations over the last one year.”Folarin said

Dr Semiu Folarin therefore enjoined the protesters to shun any act that can be capable of truncating the existing peace in the country throughout the period of protest.

He equally charged security operatives to be more alive to their duties by providing adequate security for protesters and forestall any breakdown of law and other.
