NISE  Honours Fagbemi With Safety Advocacy Award

The Nigerian Institute of Safety Engineers (NISE), Oyo State Chapter, has presented a prestigious Safety Advocacy Award to Dr. Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board (OYSHMB).

 

The award was presented during the annual General Meeting, 2024 Election, and Induction ceremony held at the NLC Secretariat, Akobo, Ibadan.

 

According to Engr. Oladayo Awodele, Pioneer Chairman of NISE, the award recognizes Dr. Fagbemi’s significant contributions to promoting a culture of safety in engineering systems in Nigeria and Oyo State.

 

The institution also acknowledged his consistent moral and financial support, noting that he has always been willing to assist whenever called upon.

 

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Fagbemi expressed gratitude for the recognition and pledged to continue supporting NISE in its endeavors, ensuring that safety remains a top priority in the state’s healthcare sector.

 

Dr. Fagbemi’s commitment to safety has been evident in his leadership of the OYSHMB, where he has implemented various initiatives to enhance safety protocols in hospitals across the state.

 

His dedication to safety has not gone unnoticed, and this award is a testament to his tireless efforts to promote a culture of safety in Nigeria.

 

The award presentation was attended by prominent figures in the engineering and healthcare sectors, who all praised Dr. Fagbemi’s contributions to safety advocacy.

 

The recognition by NISE is expected to further inspire Dr. Fagbemi to continue his excellent work in promoting safety in Nigeria, and his leadership will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the healthcare sector.
