As part of the event marking the 54th birthday of Minister for Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Adelabu Mandate Media Group has uplifted physically challenged individuals and less privileged in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility.
The Minister who was represented by his Personal Assistant Hon Ajiboye Akande said his gives priority to issues pertaining to People With Disability in the state and most especially less privileged and Widows.
Hon Ajiboye Akande popularly known as Aji also appreciated the support of people given to the Honourable Minister of Power,adding that the love and support will not be taken for granted.
Presenting crutches, tripod and palliatives to the physically challenged people and less privileges, Comrade Awogboro who is the leader of the group said the group, which comprises of media professionals and supporters of Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has embarked on a mission to make a positive impact on the lives of the needy
According to him, their outreach programme includes distribution of food, clothing, and educational materials to vulnerable individuals and families.
The philanthropic gesture aimed to provide essential support and resources to marginalized communities.We must prioritize the well-being of our brothers and sisters who require our support.” Awogboro said.
At a program held yesterday in Ibadan, the group donated walking aids, and other essential items to enhance the mobility and independence of physically challenged persons.
