A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Akinyele 2 constituency Hon Olatunde Kehinde has urged the state Governor Egnr Seyi Makinde to give priority attention to the construction of roads in Akinyele Local Government
Hon Kehinde made the appeal during the special sitting for the budget proposal of 678 billion Naira presented by the Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde at the floor of the house
According to the lawmaker,Ojoo -Arulogun- Aroro and Asanmajana-Onikankan- Arola Apete roads deserves urgent attention to ease the problem being faced by the people of the affected areas.
The lawmaker who spoke on behalf of his counterpart in Akinyele constituency 1 Hon Monsur Abiola said the construction of the roads are strategic towards boosting the economy of the council area .
While appreciating the Governor for the laudable projects completed by his administration under Omituntun 1 point 0 ,Hon Kehinde also urged the state government to ensure dualization of the old Moniya to Idi Ose- Ojoo road for the advancement of the state.
He noted that Akinyele Local Government has benefited a lot from the Seyi Makinde led administration through infrastructural projects that have transformed and improved the internally generated revenue of the council area and state at large.
Hon Olatunde Kehinde said the people of Akinyele local government will continue to be grateful to God for putting a lover of Akinyele local government to the helms of Affairs in the state but appealing to him to consider construction of roads for the overall development of the state.
