Elites and the wealthy people in the society have been charged to cultivate the habit of paying back to the society, particularly their alma mata in order to compliment government’s efforts in providing qualitative education for young ones.
The charge was part of comments made by the trio of the Daodu of Saki Chief Sijuola Abdulahi who represented the Okere of Saki His Majesty Oba Khalid Olabisi Ayinla, Chairman Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs Saki Branch Shehu Wahab Folorunsho Olorunero and the moderator of Orisun iye saki and Pastor in charge Baptist Church Saki Reverend Ebenezer Bamidele Odedele.
This was coming on the heels of the philanthropic gesture of Hon Kunle Koleosho, son of an elder stateman, the Mayegun of Saki land late Chief Robert Koleosho who embarked on the distribution of school uniforms to pupils of five schools across Saki town .
Hon Kunle Koleosho with the support of Bonuola Vanguard under the Chairmanship of Mr Raheem Ajao distributed the school uniforms to pupils of Pentecostal Basic Primary School Oje owode road Barracks area Saki in which 19 pupils benefited from the gesture.
Also, pupils of Ajegunle Basic Primary School Saki received 32 uniforms while pupils of Africa Primary School 1 and 2 Sango,Saki,LA Primary School 1, 2 and 3 Isale Taba Saki and Kinikini Baptist Primary School,kinikini area Saki gotten 30 pairs of the customized School Uniform with the designed logo of Bonuola Vanguard respectively.
The trio of Daodu Saki Chief Sijuola Abdulahi, Chairman Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs Shehu Wahab Folorunsho and Reverend Ebenezer Odedele in their separate remarks urged the well to do individuals in the society to take a queue from the philanthropic gesture of Hon Koleosho with a view to building a viral society and also securing brighter future for the young ones.
While speaking,Hon Kunle Koleosho said the gesture was born out of his desire to immortalize his late father, Chief Robert Koleosho and also to pay back to the society that brought him to the lime light.
He stressed that government cannot do everything alone and as such, individuals must come on board to support the government towards securing a brighter future for downtrodden.
While urging individuals to contribute their quota to better the lives of the less privileged in the society,Hon Koleosho assured teachers of the visited schools of his support to the development of their schools.
According to him, kindness never wasted as givers never lack and as such promised not to rest on his oars.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the two of the three orphans of the same parent namely Olatilewa Victoria, Olatilewa Isiah and Olatilewa Mathew by the Head Mistress of Kinikini Baptist Primary School,Saki,who also benefited from the kindness of Hon Kunle Koleosho.
The donor,Hon Koleosho promised to do the needful towards supporting the orphans and captured them under Bonuola Vanguard Scheme.
The programme had in attendance Hon Olabode Adeniyi,Revd S.S Adeoye,Mr Okunlola Johnson Adebayo and Mr Olagbenro among others.
