Pioneer Movement Iseyin, PMI, an umbrella body of eminent sons and daughters of Iseyin land, established to contribute to the growth and development of Iseyin town, organises her annual programme tagged “PMI WEEK/Public lecture.
The programme will also feature award of scholarship and recognition of service to deserving students and teachers.
The public lecture, with the topic ‘ Facilitating Accelerated Development Through Local Government Autonomy’ will be delivered by Prof. Kehinde Oluwaseun Kester, of the Department of Adult Education, University of Ibadan.
A release issued by Pioneer Rasaq Asaju on behalf of the association said the epoch event holds on Saturday 7th of December 2024 by 10am.
The royal father of the day is the Aseyin of Iseyin His Majesty Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri 111.
As part of activities lined up to make the day remarkable is the Jumat service to hold on Friday 6th of December 2024 at Ansaru Deen Central Mosque Agip Iseyin, while final football competition of Pioneer Movement Iseyin tagged: Pioneer Wasiu Bisiriyu Football Competition,holds at Ebedi stadium,faramora area iseyin,same day by 4pm.
The release stated that the thanksgiving service of the association comes up on Sunday 8th of December 2024 at First Baptist Church Koso Iseyin.
It enjoined all and sundry to be part of the programme and be punctual.
