A Former Member of the Nigerian Senate Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has expressed deep sadness over the passing of renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Ajani Muyideen Bello.

In a statement released in Ibadan Senator Akanbi described Sheik Bello as an “epitome of morality and knowledge” whose commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards was unparalleled.

“We’ve lost a truly exceptional individual who embodied the very best of our values and principles,” Senator Akanbi said. “Sheik Bello’s passing leaves a gaping void in our community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.”

Sheik Bello was a respected figure in Islamic circles, known for his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the teachings of the Quran.

Senator Akanbi’s tribute to Sheik Bello reflects the widespread admiration for the late Islamic scholar, whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations.

Sen. Akanbi’s full statement reads:

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Sheik Ajani Muyideen Bello. We’ve lost an epitome of morality and knowledge, a shining example of what it means to live a life guided by the principles of compassion, justice, and righteousness. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and the entire Muslim community. May Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.”
