Executive Chairman, Akinleye Local Government, Honourable Akinwole Akinleye has expressed appreciation to God Almighty for the gift of life to witness another season of Christmas celebration.
The chairman in his message admonished all the good people of the local government and the state by extension, to embrace peaceful coexistence with the love embedded in the birth of Christ which is the reason for the season.
According to the council boss, it is only in peaceful environment that people can enjoy the dividends of governance at the grassroots level.
He therefore urged the people to emulate the love of Christ and to within their capacity, bless people around them especially the less privileged with goodies for the celebration.
Hon Akinleye, stressed that, for God to have graciously blessed humanity with His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is so significant that nothing should be too much to give to others.
He reiterated that his administration will not relent in seeing that Akinleye Local Government stands out amongst it’s peers.
Rolling out some of his administration’s achievements, he highlighted rehabilitation/ grading across all the 12 wards of the local government; foundation laying of Sagbe Primary School and all other palliative supports toward better standards of living of the people.
Honourable Akinwole while rejoicing with the Number One citizen of the state, His Excellency, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on his birthday that coin-sided with the birth of the Saviour of the world, expressed gratitude for the governor’s doggedness in transforming Oyo state.
He therefore assured his people of more dividends of democracy and more economic growth with drastic developmental progress.
