A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, has congratulated former Deputy Governor of the state, Engr Rauf Olaniyan and former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape, on their birthdays.
Alao in a statement from his Media Office, described the celebrants as men who have contributed greatly to the development of the pace setter state, noting that the two political leaders are great assets to Oyo State.
He maintained that Engr Olaniyan and Rt. Hon. Alarape deserve to be celebrated as they are role models to their supporters, stating that they have made name for themselves in the history of the state.
He said as a committed public administrator, Olaniyan distinguished himself in all the positions held, noting that his leadership qualities and commitment to the welfare of the people speak volume of his personality.
According to him, “I want to sincerely felicitate with my dear Egbon and former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, on his 65th birthday. It is my prayer that Almighty Allah
continues to grant him the will to continue with the good works he has been doing for humanity.”
Alao praised Alarape as a seasoned legislator whose dedication to legislative excellence and good governance is legendary, stating that he has always demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in all the political positions he occupied.
