The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government Hon Mudasiru Kamorudeen has urged people of his council area to continue work for the unity and Progress of the council area.
The Council Boss made the remarks at the first Ramadan Lecture organised by Daru Uluum Wal Ma’rifah Arabic & Islamic school, Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan.
According to Hon Kamorudeen Mudasiru it is only in an atmosphere of peace that any meaningful development can thrive hence the need for people to continue to ensure peace in their respective domains
He therefore called on the people to continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde led administration in his quest to bring much needed development to the state.
In his lecture, the chairman of Oyo state Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board, Sheik Hasim Abdul wahab Atere charged parents to give tangible education to their children.
” Education is the most priority in building a good nation.Both western and Quranic education is key towards ensuring a better society.” Atere said.
Earlier in his remarks, the founder of Daru Uluum Wal Ma’rifah Arabic & Islamic, Alhaji Ismael Ayeniromo thanked Almighty Allah for spearing his life to witness the day hale and hearty and equally lauded those giving adequate support to the institution.
The Ramadan lecture was graced by Islamic Clerics and Muslims faithful from far and near.
