The Engr. Strikah Foundation has held its 2025 Ramadan Lecture and Food Support program at Mapo Hall in Ibadan.

The event, which was hosted by Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Strikah, CEO of Engr. Strikah Foundation and Otun Giwa Adeen Fresh FM, Nigeria, brought together thousands of people from Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East Local Government areas.

The highlight of the event was a lecture titled “Leadership and Governance: Islamic Perspective,” delivered by the Chief Imam of Fresh FM, Sheik Abdul Kareem Olalekan Abdullah, also known as Alfa ti o ja.

In his lecture, Sheik Abdullah emphasized the importance of leadership and governance in Islam, highlighting the need for leaders to be guided by the principles of justice, compassion, and accountability.

Sheik Abdullah noted that effective leadership is critical to the development and progress of any society, and that Islamic teachings offer valuable insights into the characteristics and qualities required of leaders.

He also emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize the welfare and well-being of their people, and to work towards creating a just and equitable society.

Sheik Abdullah encouraged leaders to strive for excellence and to seek guidance from Islamic teachings in their decision-making processes.

In addition to the lecture, the event also featured a food support program, which provided food packages to thousands of people in attendance.

The program was part of the foundation’s efforts to support vulnerable members of the community during the Ramadan period.

The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, praised Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Strikah for his philanthropic efforts, noting that his foundation has been making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people.

He commended Engr. Strikah’s commitment to giving back to the community and encouraged others to emulate his example.

Earlier in his welcome address, Engr. Sanusi Ridwan Strikah said the program was part of the activities of his foundation to give back to the community and to support indigent people.

He assured that more people in the Local Government areas would still benefit from the foundation’s food support program, and other initiatives

Recall that, just a few months ago, Engr. Strikah Foundation organized a football competition for youths in the Local Government areas, which was aimed at discovering talents and promoting unity, teamwork, and healthy competition among the young people.

The Engr. Strikah Foundation’s Annual Ramadan Lecture and Food Support program has become a highly anticipated event in the community, and this year’s edition was no exception.

The program was attended by political leaders, including Alh Oloyede, Chief Mrs. Tegbe (Assistant Secretary Oyo APC), Hon. Asanke (APC Chairman, Ibadan South East) , Hon. John Oyetunji ( Oyo State APC youth leader) , Chief Kola Amoo, Engr. Sulaiman Adetunji, Hon. Inaolaji, Hon.
