A 17 year Old Oluwafemi Sobola who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy has urged well meaning Nigerians to render their financial support to him for his medical treatment
The boy made the appeal during a visit by mediareportsng.com to his parents house in Lagos to ascertain the Medical condition of the patients.
Investigations revealed that the boy had been facing the health challenges when he was 8 months old with inability to control his neck.
On medical examination,the extremities were spastic and had Only achieved neck control was unable to sit A diagnosis of cerebral Palsy was made and he was recommended for programmed physiotherapy and Vitamin B Preparations.
Due to the lack of funds by his parents, medical treatment was default hence the need to seek financial Assistance from Nigerians so that Oluwafemi Sobola can live a normal life.
The Father of Oluwafemi,Mr Lateef Olusegun Sobola who is a private school teacher passionately appealed to well meaning Nigerians to assist him to give proper medical attention to his son.
“From his period of bath 17 years ago to date; we have had to spend millions of naira for his therapy and general body recuperation.His prolonged poor health condition has however thrown our entire household into financial predicament.As at this moment, ordinary feeding has become an uphill task for my family.The situation has become so financially unbearable that we can’t even buy his drugs, therapeutic equipments and pay for his treatments any longer.The harsh economic situation of Nigeria has added to our trouble in no small measure.”
“We are using this medium to appeal passionately to Nigerians and non-nigerians both home and abroad to come to our aid financially.His situation has single-handedly handicapped our household’s financial capability.” Sobola said.
