The Executive Chairman of of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has expressed his birthday felicitations to his beloved wife, Yeye Asiwaju Oluyole, Hajia Balkis Olatunji, and former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu.
He described his wife as a pillar of strength, his best friend, and soulmate who has made his life journey seamless even amid the challenges.
While Hajia Balkis Olatunji celebrates her 40th birthday anniversary, Senator Sunmonu turns 66 years.
In his felicitation message on Tuesday, Olatunji also praised Senator Sunmonu for her unwavering dedication to public service and her enduring impact on the political landscape of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
“I want to specially thank God for my wife and soulmate, Yeye Asiwaju Oluyole, Hajia Balkis Olatunji on this auspicious occasion of her 40th birthday. It gives me great sense of fulfillment to journey this path of life with such a great asset with whom I can face the challenges of world headlong.

Senator Sunmonu, who made history as the first female Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and later represented Oyo Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, was also lauded for her continued advocacy for good governance and women empowerment.
