A female youth leader and frontline aspirant for the Chairmanship position of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Hon. Kafayat Adekemi Akinpelu Agusto-Momoh, has officially declared her intention to contest in the forthcoming local government elections under the All Progressives Congress (APC) by obtaining his nomination form at the party’s State Secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja.
Hon. Kafayat, was warmly received by party officials as she completed the formal process on Wednesday.
Speaking shortly after receiving the form, she reaffirmed her commitment to serve the people of Lagos Mainland with humility, accountability, and vision-driven leadership.
“I am ready to offer selfless service that will uplift every ward in Lagos Mainland. My focus is on development, unity, and inclusive governance,” Kafayat stated.
Since the announcement, social media platforms have been flooded with congratulatory messages from supporters, residents, and political associates who expressed confidence in her leadership capacity.
With grassroots support and political goodwill on her side, Hon. Kafayat is considered a major contender in the party’s forthcoming primary election scheduled to hold in the coming weeks.
