The George Aid Foundation in partnership with department of child oral health, dental center UCH and Nigeria Association of pediatric dentistry celebrate Children’s Day 2025 with dental health care for pupils of Maryhill covenant School Idi Ape Ibadan.
The programme was used for oral health awareness for the pupils of the school. As part of the programme the teeth of the students were Cross examined against cavities and teeth problem.
Sensitising the pupils of Maryhill covenant School Dr.Omobola Olanloye exposed the pupils to oral health care and practical demonstration on the normal process of mouth washing.
Speaking at the event the headmistress of Maryhill Covenant school Rev. Sister Margret Okudaje lauds the alumni of the school and George aid foundation for facilitating dental health care for the pupils.
Speaking to newsmen the head of the medical delegation who is also a Former Deputy Provost College of Medicine UCH Ibadan, Prof. Obafunke Denloye said the sensitization programme and oral health care is aimed at addressing dentistry problems in the pupils of Maryhill Covenant school.
The program was also used to celebrate the life and service of Chief Winifred Olusolape Ogunlusi who was the former head mistress of Maryhill covenant school between 1968-1980.
Addressing the gathering Mrs Olusolape Ogunlusi stated that it is a thing of joy seeing the school progressing physically and academically.
Speaking to newsmen the head girl and head boy of Maryhill Covenant School Lewis Omoseeke and Olusoji Anthony thank the George aid foundation for facilitating and providing oral health care for all pupils of the school.
Each students of Maryhill covenant school were given tooth brush and toothpaste as a take home
