… As CAC Orí Oke Aanu English Assembly Marks 15th Anniversary
“Rejoice in the Lord” was the theme for the 15th Anniversary of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Prayer Mountain of Mercy(Ori-Oke Aanu), English Assembly, District Headquarters, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
In their usual practice, members of the Church arrived for the Sunday Service as early as expected and in their moderate but beautiful attires that depict believers and followers of Jesus Christ.
As the programme was ongoing, the Church became more charged with joy of the Lord when the District Superintendent of the District Headquarters, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade, popularity known as “Omo Woli” stepped in with an august visitor, the CAC General Secretary Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel Mapur as the whole Congregants rose in unison to welcome them.
The appearance of the CAC General Secretary was unprecedented to the Church as it was his first time on visiting the CAC Prayer Mountain of Mercy, Ojoo, Ibadan.
The Church Choir and Children added glamour to the Thanksgiving Service as they worshipped and praised God by setting tones of celebration and joy with their soul lifting songs.
In a Sermon, the CAC General Secretary Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Emmanuel Mapur who spoke on the Anniversary Theme “Rejoice in the Lord” urged Christians to always praise God and be happy in Him, regardless of the various socio-economic and other challenges being faced.
He enjoined people to rejoice in the Lord because of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the hope of the future glory which transcends earthly joy.
While commending the District Superintendent of the Church, Pastor Mapur described Pastor Alade as a man of God with humility, and focus on winning more souls for Jesus Christ, charging him to continue with work that God has placed on his hands.
Speaking, the District Superintendent, CAC Prayer Mountain of Mercy, District Headquarters, Ojoo, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade who appreciated the CAC General Secretary for the historic visit, gave glory to God for His mercy and grace over the Assembly since its inception.
Pastor Alade said, the Thanksgiving Anniversary was a reflection on the journey of the Assembly which began with less than 30 Members in 2010 and has now had branches across the World including Lagos State and Chicago in the United States of America, hence the need to rejoice in the Lord for His faithfulness.
Highlight of the Service was prophetic prayer by the biological father of the District Superintendent and Baba Ori Oke Aanu, Prophet Moses A. Aladeolu for the Church, the guests, members, the State and Nigeria in general.
In attendance were Men of God from different branches of the Church, Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses, and the Wife of the District Superintendent, Lady Evangelist Eunice Alade.
Shortly after the Thanksgiving Service, all the Guests and Members of the Church were treated to sumptuous meal.
