It was a moment of appreciation and celebration of a life well spent, as dignitaries across oke ogun and beyond converged on CAC,Oke Itura, Baale Agbe,Otu, Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State to pay their last respect to an icon, Late Prince Jacob Oyeniran Adepoju,a k a Ejo Baba Dapo, brother to the Oniro of Otu, His Majesty Oba Sunday Oyetunde Adepoju Ayilola for his virtuous life worthy of emulation.
The epoch event described as ‘Celebration of a Life well Spent of Prince Jacob Oyeniran Adepoju’, was graciously attended by traditional rulers, religious leaders, families and friends of the deceased as well as close Associates who came from all walks of life.
In his sermon at the burial Church service Pastor EO Akinola D/S CAC Oke Isegun District who read from the book of Matthew chapter 2, verses 1-2 and Joshua 23 verse 14, said death is inevitable as every living soul shall taste death at appropriate time.
He stressed that life is ephemeral and as such admonished the people of the society to make a positive impact worthy of emulation while alive.
Pastor Akinola urged everyone to refrain from ungodly acts and imbibe righteousness.

I , in his tribute said the demise of his brother has left a great scar in his heart, describing his exit as a huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
The monarch in his short speech said the exit of his brother Prince Jacob Oyeniran on 9th of July 2022 was sequel to the exit of their mother who died on the 9th of July 1967 saying it was a testimony to be reckon with.
He eulogized late Prince Jacob Oyeniran for his leadership acumen and stressed that the deceased played a pivotal role in his education and was instrumental to his ascension to the throne as Oniro of Otu.
He therefore urged the children of the deceased to emulate the uncommon character of their late father.
Friends of the deceased, the Odofin of Sakiland, Chief Isaac Koleosho, Chief Adegbola John Oyeniyi and Mr Lawal Solomon from Saki town in their separate remarks saluted the remarkable virtues of the deceased and described his demise as colossal loss to Oke Ogun area.
The trio admonished the family and children he left behind to unite and see one another as one big family while upholding the virtues of righteousness exemplified by their father.
Also, in their condolence messages to the Oniro of Otu over the death of his brother, the Jagun of Otu, High Chief Samson Adekunle Adedokun,Agoro of Otu Chief Adeniji Moses and Baale Arinoye, Chief Jenfa Oyedokun described late Prince Jacob Oyeniran as a man of impeccable character worthy of emulation.
They said his humility, honesty, hard work and simplicity would be remembered for a long time.
The palace chiefs urged Kabiesi Oniro to take solace in God and admonished the children left behind by the deceased to sustain the legacy left by their late father.
Some of the children of the deceased, Mr Oyeniran Oladotun Emmanuel,Mrs Adebola Ibrahim,Mrs Janet Omoyeni ,Mrs Abosede Amolegbe,Mr Abiodun Adigun Oyeniran,Mr Dapo Oyeniran Michael and Princess Busayo Eniola Jokanola in their separate tributes appreciated a life well spent by their late father.
They stressed that their father taught them to be honest, obedient, loyal and always work in the way of God.
They emphasized that his righteous lifestyle and exemplary conduct will speak volume after him.
They reiterated that Prince Jacob Oyeniran Adepoju came to this world, he saw and he conquered.
The event was also graced by several traditional rulers, including the Eleyinpo of Ipapo, Oba Yekeen Ademola Abioye, the Alagbonle of Agbonle, Oba Jolaade Idowu Job Adetunji, Oniro of Komu Oba Jonah Olagboyega Awujoola Kolade.
Others were Pa and Mrs Akande; parents of Prof Adeolu Akande, Former Chairman Itesiwaju Local Government; Hon Ojo Bolaji Akinola and his wife,Reverend and Mrs Olabiyi of the First Baptist Church. Otu.
