The Rasheed Fasasi Foundation for Excellence (RAFEE), a humanitarian foundation based in Ibadan, has put smiles on the face of the best-performing student of Islamic High School, Orita-Bashorun, Ibadan, as part of its commitment to rewarding academic excellence and giving back to society.
At the maiden edition of its Annual Award Ceremony held on Monday at the school hall, the foundation presented a cash award of ₦50,000 to Miss Abdulateef Ramlah Arike, who emerged as the best-performing student in the 2025 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
The founder of the Foundation, Dr. Rasheed Fasasi, an alumnus of Islamic High School, expressed joy and fulfillment at the event.
“The ship of my dream was finally berthed today — my alma mater, Islamic High School, Orita-Bashorun, Ibadan. My give-back has started,” Dr. Fasasi said.
“Alhamdulillahi for the successful inauguration of the Rasheed Fasasi Foundation for Excellence (RAFEE) and the maiden annual award presentation to the best-performing student of Islamic High School in the 2025 SSCE.
May Allah accept this as ibaadah. RAFEE! Appreciating Allah’s Mercy.”
The ceremony was attended by the Principal of Islamic High School, Mr. Abdullahi Fasasi, along with vice principals, staff, family members of the awardee, the Fasasi family, and other invited guests.
The RAFEE Foundation has pledged to continue its support for academic excellence and youth development through scholarships and empowerment initiatives.
