The Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has again distinguished itself as a body of excellence as the Director of Works and Services for the institution, Engr. Salaam Dauda Adeniran has been appointed as the new Director of Works and Services for Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa (AOPE).
The Rector, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi, the entire Management, Staff and Students have continued to congratulate Engr. Salaam over his appointment. They also commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over his appointment.
Prof. Akinola noted that Engr. Salaam has contributed significantly to the development of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora through his professional expertise and diligence to the institution’s physical infrastructure.
The rector hinted that the appointment symbolizes another legacy of excellence that Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora stands for.
It would be recalled that one of the Staff of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Mrs. Bolatito Sekinat Adejuwon was recently appointed as the new Bursar for the same Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.
Until his appointment, Engr. Salaam was the Director of Works and Services for OYSCATECH, Igboora. Engr. Salaam is a COREN certified Engineer and Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers with over twenty years of practice in the Public and Private sector.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, Fellow, Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria and Fellow, Institute of Policy Management and Leadership Development.
Engr. Salaam holds Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, and Master of Science in Supply Chain and Procurement Management.
Engineer Salaam who hails from Oyo town had his primary education at Local Authority Primary School, Idi-Ope and Secondary education at Saint Bernardine’s Grammar School, Oyo and School of Science, Oyo.
Engr. Salaam has published five scholarly articles and attended over ten conferences.
He is happily married and the marriage is blessed with children.
The new appointment takes effect from Monday, December 29, 2025, for a period of four years.
The Rector and Staff members hereby wish the distinguished Engr. Salaam Dauda Adeniran huge success and massive development in both physical and infrastructural facility in his new assignment.
