Former Oyo State Assembly lawmaker, Hon. Kolade Olagunju has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on commissioning a state-of-the-art PDP Secretariat in Ibadan.
Hon Olagunju in a statement made available to Journalists in Ibadan described the move as a giant stride positioning PDP for upcoming elections.
“This is the first permanent PDP secretariat in Oyo since 1999,” he noted, praising Makinde’s foresight and leadership. Barely two years have passed since the Southwest PDP House named in honor of Chief Adagunodo, the former Southwest PDP Chairman, was commissioned, and the new Oyo PDP Secretariat has emerged.
The ex-lawmaker commended Makinde’s inclusive governance and developmental projects, citing the upgrade of Ibadan’s Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport to international standards.
“Oyo gains recognition and attracts investors, especially in the area of Tourism and hospitalty under Makinde,” Olagunju said.
He congratulated Makinde and PDP executives on completing the secretariat ahead of Oyo’s 50th anniversary.
Hon Olagunju called on the people of Oyo state to continue backing Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration as it seeks to bring about transformation in the state.
