The need for practical solutions to address security and humanitarian challenges was emphasized at a forum organized by the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET) in conjunction with DEPSHSSA, University of Ibadan.

The event, themed “Peace Education and Practice: Positioning for Global Peace Impact,” brought together students, academics, and peace practitioners to explore ways to strengthen the connection between peace education and practical engagement.
Speakers, including Dr. Sola Ishola, Head of Department, Peace, Conflict and Security Studies, University of Ibadan, and Prof. Nathaniel Danjibo, a renowned Peace Scholar and Human Security Expert, stressed the importance of translating knowledge into measurable impact.
