The Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu has hosted the Grassroots Mobilizer and Forum of former Local Government Councillors under the All Progressives Congress across the 33 council areas in the state
The meeting which was held at Jericho Political headquarters of minister Adebayo Adelabu
Speaking on behalf of the Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu,One of his aides Comrade Femi Awogboro described the meeting as one of the steps that necessary to be taken towards strengthening the peace and progress of the party.
According to the Minister, unity of all Stakeholders and members are crucial tools towards having APC led government in Oyo state come 2027
He emphasized the need for members of the party to continue to support President Bola Tinubu led government in his quest to bring much needed development to Nigeria and make the country regain its lost glory.
” It is pertinent to note that this meeting was organized to appreciate the grassroots Mobilizer,Forum of Local Government Councillors 2018/2021 set across the state
Awogboro also stated that the impact of the grassroots in politics can never be over emphasized. He commended all the former councilors for their efforts so far in uniting the party.
“This meeting was another great avenue to intimate members about the effort made by President Tinubu led administration in less than 2 years and equally solicited continuous support of people in moving the country’s forward.” The Minister said.
Speaking on behalf of the Ex Council Councillors, Hon Emmanuel Olofinsawo appreciated the Minister of Power Chief Adelabu for the unflinching support given to the former councilors under APC in Oyo since their unlawful removal by the PDP led government in the state.
Hon Olofinsawo said the group and political grassroots Mobilizer in Oyo state are solidly behind Adelabu in his future aspiration.
Some Stakeholders who graced the event included former state APC Welfare Director Hon Taiwo Ige, Hon AK Kareem 2023 house of Assembly candidate for Akinyele constituency and many others
