The Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu has expressed his heartfelt sympathy to victims of the Aleshinloye Market inferno that occurred in the late hours of Tuesday.
The Minister in his message to the people affected by the outrageous fire outbreak described the incident as an unfortunate one.
According to Chief Adelabu, the perpetual fire outbreak in the major markets in Ibadan metropolis and Oyo State in general calls for urgent attention to forestall such occurrences in future.
The Minister reiterated that it is high time government of Oyo State intensified efforts by strengthening the state fire services and possibly establish a mini fire station in major markets in the state.
“My heart bleeds for the people affected by this outrageous fire outbreak. My support will always be with you at this crucial time. Aleshinloye Market is an ancient market that deserves the attention of all relevant Stakeholders” Adelabu said.
While expressing his condolences, the Minister also prayed to God to give the victims fortitude to bear the loss and called on well meaning Nigerians to assist the victims for them to quickly recover from the loss.
