A Prominent Christian Cleric Pastor Isaiah Alade has charged Christians to emulate the Sacrificial life of Jesus Christ
In his Easter message, the District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Mercy Once Again, Pastor Isaiah Alade, popularly called “Omo Woli” stated that the true significance of Jesus’ coming to the world lies in His death and resurrection. According to him, without the crucifixion and resurrection, all that Jesus did on earth would have had no lasting meaning.
He described Jesus’ life as a complete sacrifice, laying down His life on the cross and rising again to prepare believers for the kingdom to come.
The Cleric said Easter symbolizes love that Jesus Christ had for people irrespective of their culture, religion or political affiliations.
Pastor Alade therefore urged Christians to live sacrificial lives and support others, especially the poor and less privileged. He also called on those in positions of power and individuals with financial means to show compassion and extend help to the needy in society.
