As the convocation of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH rounded off, A Masters Degree graduate Ooreoluwa Adebiyi has urged nigerian youths to seek more knowledge for the advancement of the country.
Ooreoluwa Adebiyi was among the 2869 graduands conferred with Masters Degree in various disciplines of their choice.
According to her,the knowledge acquired from the institution will be used to bring much needed development to her profession and the country at large.
During the programme Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde has pledged a renewed commitment of his administration to the Infrastructural Development of educational facilities with a view to enhancing the quality of education in the State.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Barrister Bayo lawal also restated the commitment of the state government to the provision of necessary supports that will propel the institution to rank among the best 50 Universities in the world.
Also the Vice Chancellor, LAUTECH Ogbomoso, Prof. Razaq Kalilu revealed that the institution has entered into collaboration with similar institutions in the United States and Germany as part of internationalization of LAUTECH’s operations and staff and students exchange.
The convocation ceremony which had in attendance the Governing Council and management members, royal fathers, guests and parents of the graduands was used to award postgraduate diplomas and higher degrees of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomoso.
Among traditional rulers at the occasion were the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Oyebola, while the Onpetu of Ijeru, Oba Sunday Oyediran was represented.
