A global digital transformation and cyber security consultant, Ololade Usman Bakare, has inaugurated the “Igbega Oyo” initiative, a social and democratic movement focused on creating a future that works for everyone through inclusive development programs in education, healthcare, and empowerment.
The initiative, powered by the Ololade Usman Bakare Foundation, aims to help the less privileged in Oyo State overcome numerous challenges. As an indigene of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, the founder, Ololade Usman Bakare, is a result-oriented public leader and change maker passionate about technology and innovation for sustainable development.
Through the initiative, Usman has supported individuals through scholarship programs, payment of school fees, and other forms of assistance to achieve a result-oriented future. Beyond educational support, Usman has given back to his community, including Iyanda’s family compound in Isale Bode, Ibadan.
Recently, the “Igbega Oyo” Initiative rolled out a set of scholarships to students in Ibadanland, paying WAEC fees for indigent students and providing food packages for widows and the needy.
In a telephone conversation with newsmen, the visionary, Usman, stated that the “Igbega Oyo” initiative is structured to provide free humanitarian services for the well-being of the needy and vulnerable in society. Usman added that the initiative will soon empower hundreds of downtrodden, indigent students, widows, and people with disabilities with cash, scholarships, and empowerment tools across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State.
