Ladoja Begins Traditional Rites As Olubadan-Elect, Pledges To Curb Hooliganism In Ibadan

The Former Governor Rashidi Ladoja who is Olubadan-elect, has arrived Ibadan on Monday.
The arrival of Olubadan -Elect signal the commencement of traditional rites on Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan.
The former senator, who was received by his supporters at the Ibadan end of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway and head to Isale-Osi family house.
This follows the expiration of 21 days of mourning for the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
The former Governor while addressing the crowd at his family house stated that He will be more present at his Born Photo family house during his reign and has promised to curb hoodlums in the notorious Born Photo .
The Olubadan designate disclosed this during his first official visit to his family house where prayers were offered for him in both Islamic and Christian ways .
While speaking with the people Ladoja also remembered some of his late friend and prayed for the repose of their souls including his former deputy Alao Akala.
Speaking about the hooliganism which the Born Photo area of Ibadan is known for , the Olubadan designate stated that,he would be ruling from his family house in other to get rid of thugs .
” I will be coming home from time to time and I want to assure you that this area will be cleared of hoodlums .They will have no choice than to vacate this area or repent ” .
” Very happy to be with you here today and I promise you that I will be very much around in this area and those boys will have no option than to vacate this area or repent ” Ladoja said .
