..hosts Ogun TNT Team
A one-time House of Reps member and governorship aspirant in Ogun State, Hon Kayode Amusan, has disclosed that he will be rolling out buses and cars for the campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election.
Hon Amusan, who is the patron of Tinubu National Think-Tank, Ogun State, made this disclosure while receiving the leaders of the group at his residence in Abeokuta on Sunday.
The lawmaker explained that the president has performed exceptionally well in the last three years, and it is important for all Nigerians to ensure he returns.
He highlighted many achievements of Tinubu which included more funds to develop State and local government, stability in Petroleum product prices, students loan, uninterrupted academic programs in Nigeria Universities, improvement in security of lives and property of Nigerians among others.
He added that even though he has an ambition to contest the 2027 governorship election in Ogun State, the reelection of President Tinubu supercedes his own ambition.
“Yes, I would love to be Ogun State Governor come 2027, but the second coming of our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is my priority.
“I had known President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for many years now even before his political emergence, and I always known he’s meant to go far in life.”
Amusan assured members of TNT, Ogun State, that he’s ready to support them in order for them to achieve their main objective of ensuring the reelection of President Tinubu.
Earlier, the acting coordinator, TNT, Ogun State, Lekan Shobo Shobowale said members of the team were at Amusan’s residence to pay him a homage as their patron and seek for his support in their task.
He commended the former lawmaker for his love for the people at the grassroots, whose he had greatly impacted their lives while he was at the National Assembly.
Shobowale assured him of the group support as 2027 election draw is nears, calling on members of APC to unite and ensure the reelection of President Tinubu.
Also, the acting secretary of TNT, Ogun State, thanked Hon Kayode Amusan for his generosity and commitment to various groups and associations across Ogun State.
Present at the meeting included the Chief Whip of the group, Hon Olajumoke Akindele, Dr Adenike, Hon Idris Salami, Hon Wale Bakare, Hajia Sekinat Jimoh, Com Lamidi Olamilekan anong others.
