Former Oyo Health Commissioner Adeduntan Returns To APC
…Holds press conference june 12 2O24 at party secretariat
The International consultant cardio vascular surgeon and the Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland, PRINCE(Dr) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan will on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 holds a world press conference.
In a statement through his media office on Saturday, Adeduntan who left the All Progressive Congress (APC) shortly after 2023 governorship primary of the party due to the unfortunate circumstances that trailed the exercise few weeks ago left the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The world press conference is organised to herald his return back to the APC.
Adeduntan, a former commissioner of health in Oyo state under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi was the first commissioner in Nigeria ;that began the now trending National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), at State level,while he also held the first State Health Endowment Fund.
The event is billed to hold at the Oyo state APC party secretariat, Oke Ado, Ibadan by 10am.
It would be recalled that 2023 APC Governorship candidate, Teslim Folarin few weeks ago visited Adeduntan at his Alakia, Ibadan office in what he described as just a visit to his brother.
