Democracy Day: “Omo Woli” Charges Nigerians On Attitude to Country’s Situation
Nigerians have been urged to remain positive and continue to exhibit the right attitude and good moral behaviour towards ensuring that the country becomes great again despite its current socio-economic challenges.
The District Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Ori Oke Aanu Ojoo Ibadan, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade, popularly known as “Omo Woli” stated this in a message made available to Newsmen in Ibadan, Oyo State on occasion to mark this year’s Democracy Day.
The Cleric who described Nigeria as a blessed Country with abundant human and natural resources, called on Nigerians to shun extravagant lifestyles capable of destroying the Nation’s Economy.
Pastor Isaiah O. Alade appealed to Nigerians not to be afraid in their quest towards actualising the country of their dream, calling on them to change from the attitude of pull-down syndrome to progressive attitude and stop wasting resources meant for the entire nation on frivolities.
According to Pastor Alade, in the face of the current economic hardship facing the people, the government should take the lead by finding solutions to the lingering challenges, which has caused more harm to the poor citizens across the Country.
The Servant of God further added that, the current challenges affecting the country would be overcome and become a thing of the past, if Government can take some steps to invest more in Agriculture, and create more conducive atmosphere for the Sector to thrive.
The CAC District Superintendent said, the current food insufficiency across the country would vanish if Nigerians cultivate the habit of having subsistence farming by planting fruits, vegetables, tubers, grains and others, that could be harvested within a short period of time.
Pastor Alade, however, enjoined Nigerians to stop saying negative words about Nigeria, but rather, praying for its greatness by saying “It is Well with Nigeria”.
While wishing Nigerians Happy Democracy Day, Pastor Alade prayed for the Leadership and followership in Nigeria for God’s guidance for the leaders and the followers to do the right thing at the right time so that the labour of the past heroes would not be in vain.
