Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has Matriculated 2,273 students for 2023/2024 academic session in both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programmes.
The successfully admitted students were offered admission into various faculties of the college to run National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in some courses that are available in the institution.
In a speech delivered at the event, the Institution’s Rector, Professor Akinola Akinlabi said the college is committed to turning out graduates who will be job creators and not job seekers.
The OYSCATECH Rector warned that the college would not condone any form of indiscipline or unruly behavior, acts of gangsterism, cultism or Indecent dressing.
The Rector also enjoined students to explore internal conflict resolution mechanisms by lodging any complaints promptly at the office of the Dean of Students Affairs, rather than breaching the College rules or taking the law into their own hands.
Professor Akinlabi further appreciated the support of the Visitor to the College and Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde especially as regards prompt payment of staff salaries and allowances .
He revealed that the College is currently working with the management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso and the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), towards the awarding of Degrees to HND holders through conversion.

Administering the matriculation oath on the newly admitted students, the OYSCATECH Registrar, Mr Rasheed Adeniji charged them to be good ambassadors of the college.
About 2,273 students took the matriculation oath for the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programmes.
These include full time and part time students.
