Dignitaries from far and near including Former Chief Judge of Oyo State Justice Badejoko Adeniji,Wakilu Mumini of Oyo State Prof Kamil Koyejo Oloso and other Eminent personalities attended 8th Day Fridau of Engr Said Atanda Sulu the Atunluse of Ibadanland who gloriously answered the call of Allah last Thursday at the age of 93.
The Fidau Programme organized by the Children and family members was coordinated by the Imams and Alfas in the Bashorun Estate Muslim community.
In his lecture, the Chief Imam of Bashorun Estate and its environ Muslim Community Central Mosque Ibadan, Imam Habeebllahi Buhari, urged the people to practice flexibility in their beliefs and interactions, with emphasizing that Islam does not support rigidity.
Imam Buhari stated that only Almighty Allah knows the beginning and end of each person’s life.
He described the late Egnr Said Sulu as a knowledgeable Muslim who had memorized parts of the Holy Quran.
The first son of the deceased, Engr. Oladapo Sulu, praised his father’s honesty as a worthy trait that he strives to emulate.
Engr Sulu added that he would deeply miss his father’s advice and guidance.
The event which featured recitation from the Holy Quran , sermon and special prayers served as an avenue to offer prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
Some family members and guests described the late Engr. Sulu as a source of encouragement and unity, noting his kindness, generosity, and enterprising spirit.
During his life time he was known for his humility,love and ability to connect family together irrespective of their religion beliefs.
Until his death ,Engr Said Atanda Sulu was Atunluse of Ibadanland.
Egnr Said Atanda Sulu answered the call of Allah at the Age of 93.
