Chief Olusola Oke A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state Chief Olusola Oke, is confident that Governor Lucky Inumisan Aiyedatiwa will win the governorship election.
Oke, who spoke to newsmen during a visit to Governor Ayedatiwa’s Polling unit on Saturday at Obe Nla Area of Ilaje local government cited the weakness of opposition parties and the APC’s strong presence in the state as reasons for Aiyedatiwa’s impending victory.
Chief Oke also highlighted the peaceful conduct of the election, with voters exercising their rights without fear or intimidation.
He expressed optimistic that Governor Aiyedatiwa would win the ongoing election, noting that the opposition parties were too weak to win.
“Election is peaceful everywhere. You can understand the joy of the people to come over and cast their votes in spite of the difficult terrain as a result of the waterside area.
“This time has been long waited for.
“The governorship candidate of the APC will win the election because it is very visible. Because the broom has swung very cleanly in our direction for victory.
