Oyo State Government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde has converted over 1,000 civil servants to fill vacant positions in ministries and relevant agencies in the state.
The chairman Oyo State civil service commission Alhaji kamorudeen Aderibigbe stated this at the conversion exercise for civil servants held at Simeon Adebo Hall Agodi Secretariat Ibadan.
While monitoring the exercise at the Simeon Adebo Hall, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan, The Chairman, State Civil Service Commission Alhaji kamorudeen Aderibigbe said between 2019 to 2023, over 1,000 civil servants have been converted to fill the vacant positions in government MDA’s.
He stressed that with the support of Governor Seyi Makinde, civil servants in the state have been encouraged to improve their academic knowledge for efficiency and improvement of the state civil service.
According to Alhaji Aderibigbe, over 400 hundred candidates will be selected after a thorough interview from the panelists.
The interview for successful applicants is expected to be held on Wednesday at Simeon Adebo Hall Agodi Secretariat Ibadan.
